What we do?

We design and develop integrated software and hardware-based telemedicine solutions to ensure remote connectivity for healthcare systems, providers, patients and insurers. By covering the entire value chain from technologically advanced portable medical devices, to a sophisticated Cloud Platform and a Medical Reporting Center staffed by experienced professionals, we strive to meet our client’s telemedicine needs in the most reliable and efficient manner.

Our history

2011 – Biotechware is created by two IT engineers inside the Innovative Enterprise Incubator of the Polytechnic University of Turin (I3P), with the goal of bringing innovation to the field of telecardiology

2013 – Biotechware obtained the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Certifications as Medical Device Manufacturer

2014 – CE certification and first batch production of CardioPad Pro, a portable professional electrocardiograph developed for specific use in telemedicine

2015 – Biotechware Cloud Platform CE certified as class IIa medical device

2015 – Biotechware signs agreements with Pharmacies associations to consolidate telemedicine activities and promote high quality services

2015 – Biotechware reporting services spans the entire national market

2016 – TensioPod device for ambulatory blood pressure monitoring has been integrated into the Cloud Platform enlarging Biotechware services offer

2017 – Biotechware is acquired by a multinational technological healthcare provider which allows the Company to strengthen our market position and for develop business strategy

2018 – Spacelabs Lifecard CF device has been integrated into the Cloud Platform to cover the full range of cardiological exams

2019 – Biotechware expands our business model in the Clinical channel through partnerships with both public and private hospitals

2020 – Cardiopad line CE certified in compliance with new European regulations for medical devices

2020 – Biotechware steps into tele-oncology, providing technology support to Novartis, by partnering with Egg, for home delivery service of therapies

2021 – To celebrate Biotechware’s 10th anniversary, it launches CardioPad Lite, a compact, lightweight, easy-to-use electrocardiograph with pacemaker recognition.

2022 – “Industry 4.0” certification for all medical devices of the Biotechware Telemedicine solution

2023 – Biotechware launches its Remote Patient Monitoring solution in collaboration with Comarch

2023 – Biotechware strengthens its presence in Italian pharmacies through strategic partnership with Pharmaidea
